From the next day, April 10, the page to log in to Gmail will receive a facelift by Google. The US company has unveiled detailed design changes that are going to getto the login page, and you know that it is a novelty that will not only affect its e-mail service, but also to other platforms like YouTube, Drive or Google Calendar. You have the details for change not take you by surprise.
In addition to the new design, it is sign in Gmail will no longer show the box "Keepthe logged" which so far still remained watching some users. Instead, the session will remain always initiated by default, and to get out of it shall be the user that close it manually from the browser.
While initially it was planned that the new design came into operation from day 5, the company of the big G has declared that, after listening to requests from users,it has decided to delay the launch of its new login page until April 10. It has done to implement some of the comments received after it gave announced the imminent arrival of this new design, and we have you the innovations that you will find fromthis month on the accounts.google.com page.
For starters, the Gmail login page will now look a grey background that will add some more good atmosphere about the completely white background which, until now, has always had the accounts.google.com page. On top of this background will show an area of white that you are given the option to enter your email address(or, failing that, your telephone number); then, by clicking on the 'Next' button you will be able to enter your password. From there, everything will remain the same.
It is important to note that this change will not only affect to Gmail, but also to any of the other many services associated with this e-mail that Google makes available to users. Therefore, to not be surprised find the new design when you go to enter your YouTube account or access to your calendar to Google Calendar.
And tale comes this sudden change in design? Google wants to unify the experience of users of different devices, and now both from the computer as from the mobile phone you will see exactly the same login page. It is true that today this page already has a very similar design on all devices, but the company seems to be thatit is not enough, and mentioned that the purpose of this change is to "improve theexperience of users to log in to their accounts from different devices".
Google has confirmed that the new Gmail login page will start to distribute them selves gradually, which means that they could spend a few days until you find the new design into your account. In any case, if testing into your mail by logging to your account you will see these days appears a warning with the title of "Looming changes to logon". These changes are none other than that I have explained in the previous paragraphs.
On the other hand, the company also announced that it will no longer show at all the "Keep the logged" message that some users still are les was appearing to introduce the data of your e-mail address in the browser. This box will disappear forever, and the session will remain initiated always by default until the user decides to leave the account manually. These changes, remember, they come up as of April10.
